Monster Island, a mockbuster of The Asylum which came out in 2019 just around the time of Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The film is about an island called Monster Island that houses a monster. Monster Island or the monster itself is in some ways the monster.


Because this movie is about an asylum, it has the same budget as a big kid’s meal but uses it sparingly. It only (Monster Island Asylum movie) features a handful of human characters. The big stars are kept on one set so they can all film their scenes during lunch. We must not forget that this movie is a kaiju movie and that's the way they go. So maybe The Asylum won’t be so bad?
